About Us:
Experience a trip through time at one of the most interesting and exciting museums in Kansas. Find surprises around every corner, including Ivan the T.Rex, two Egyptian mummies, and an expansive military history exhibit. Rent the banquet space for a unique setting to hold a social event, reception, or special occasion. Open daily except Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and the last Saturday in July for the annual fundraiser. Senior discounts and group tours available.

Join us for educational, fun, and affordable field trips. Call early for maximum scheduling flexibility.

Field Trip Options

Self-Guided Visit (<2 hours)
This option is only available for groups of 30 kids or less.
Chaperones take smaller groups of kids around the Museum. Teachers and chaperones must supervise students at all times out of respect for other guests. Scavenger hunts are provided to help kids interact with the exhibits.

Guided Tour and Activities (1-3 hours)
For groups of 15 to 175 students. Guided activity options are included with price of admission and are subject to availability:
-Guided Tour
-Hands-on activity
-Gift shop
-Chaperone guided scavenger hunts
-Use of lunch space (as available)

Field Trip Policies

April and May Scheduling: Due to high demand, morning tours during these months are required to leave all Museum exhibits and activity areas by 12:30pm. Afternoon tours during April and May will be booked starting at 1pm.

Chaperones: Groups must maintain a 10 children to one chaperone ratio. Behavior management is the responsibility of group leaders, not museum staff.

Payment: Full payment is required at or before the time of the program. Invoices are available in advance upon request.

Lateness: Late arrivals will have their program plan reworked to fit into the remaining time frame. Groups more than 20 minutes late may be asked to reschedule their visit. If your group will be late, please call.

Admissions
Children are $6 ($4 per student for official Title I schools. Only available Monday-Friday during the school year.)
Teachers, para-educators, and bus drivers are free
Parents are $6

Visit must be booked in advance and have a minimum of 10 paid students present to receive $6 student discount.
