Something we love about the Museum is that we never know what surprise will walk through the door!

Today we were visited by the #1 country music artist in Japan, Charlie Nagatani. He and 19 of his Japanese fans traveled to Kansas to play with a local band, the Catfish Cowboys, tonight at the Cave, 3515 N. Broadway.

Charlie has played at the Grand Ole Opry 23 times in his career and will again next week. While in Wichita he and his crew visited the Museum for some historical entertainment, Sheplers for some true western wear, and Walmart because it is so different from stores in Japan!

If you're available tonight, May9 9, the concert is FREE to see a Japanese country artist celebrity! We're thrilled he made the Museum of World Treasures one of his Wichita stops.
