Bring your students to unlock the stories of the Museum! With self- and tour-guided options, we offer experiences tailored to your group.
Self-Guided Visit
2 hours
This option is only available for groups of 30 kids or fewer.
Chaperones take groups of kids around the Museum. Teachers and chaperones must supervise students at all times out of respect for other guests.
Scavenger hunts are provided to help kids interact with the exhibits.

Guided Tour and Activities

For groups of 15-200 paid students.
Guided activity options are included with price of admission and are subject to availability:
- Guided Tour
- Hands-on activity
- Museum Store
- Chaperone guided scavenger hunts
- Use of lunch space (as available)
Pricing
- Student program fee is $6 per child. All children old enough to participate will be charged the program fee.
- Hands-on activities are available. Some activities are free and some are $1 per student.
- Title I discount of $4 per student is available during the school year.
- Teachers, para-educators, and bus drivers are free (any teachers or paras above a 1:1 teacher to child ratio will be charged for admission)
- Parents visiting during tours receive reduced admission rate of $6.
- Each half hour scheduled before or after museum hours is $20 for the group. (Example: Tours scheduled at 9:00am may be charged an extra $40).
Visit must be booked in advance and have a minimum of 10 paid students present to receive $6 student discount.

Field Trip Policies
April and May scheduling: Due to high demand, morning tours during these months are required to leave all museum exhibits and activity areas by 12:30 p.m. Afternoon tours during April and May will be booked starting at 1:00 p.m.
Chaperones: Groups must maintain a 10 children to one chaperone ratio. Behavior management is the responsibility of group leaders, not museum staff.
Payment: Full payment is required at or before the time of the program. Invoices are available in advance upon request.
Late Arrivals: For any groups arriving late, schedule changes will decided upon by museum staff. Any tours arriving more than 30 minutes late, regardless of notice given, may be cancelled or rescheduled.
