Transcend: Religious & Royal Art of Asia

This exhibit discusses the  transmission of Hinduism and Buddhism across the Asian continent and the iconography used in religious sculpture. A pair of Fu Dogs, praying monks, and a radiant and smiling Maitreya Buddha statue welcome you to ponder examples of marble and bronze Buddhist and Hindu art from throughout the East.
