Creating the Crown, now open!

We are happy to announce our newest exhibit, Creating the Crown: Developing Royal Dynasties, is now open!

 

 

A team of volunteers and staff create all our new exhibits "in-house." Creating the Crown was no exception. Our Curator of Exhibits, Tim Howard, started with a design idea about a year ago. Interns and volunteers helped with research and construction. This was a massive project as the exhibit spans over 1,000 years of history. 

 

 

Creating the Crown displays European artifacts spanning the fall of Rome through World War I. It serves to connect the dots from the ancient civilizations to the American Revolution and WWI. Visit the Museum to see the new layout on second floor.
