Our Hands-On History experience is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to handle real historical artifacts and enhance your museum visit.
During your session, you will be able to touch, hold, and ask questions about authentic historical items.
When arriving at the Museum, ask to add a Hands-On History experience to your ticket. You'll be signed up for a time slot and told where to meet and when. While you wait for your session to begin, you can spend time walking through all three floors of exhibits.
At your scheduled time, the educator will check your tickets and the program will begin. You will be given a quick primer on the basics of safe artifact handling and then the experience will begin.
The recommended age range for this program is 10 years and older. All youth must participate along with an adult for this program.
Visit the Museum Monday - Friday at 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, or 4:30 PM to participate in this exciting educational opportunity.
Hands-On History participation is a $10.00 ticket add-on. For Museum Members, Hands-On History is only $8.00 extra.
This program is an add-on to a general admission ticket. It can be added during initial check in or at the front desk later in your visit. The program has a limited number of seats and is subject to availability.
