Cowtown's Dixie Lee Saloon Dancers performed on the hour.

The numbers are still being added up, but the Museum of World Treasures is thrilled to announce that this year's annual fundraiser, Night of Treasures... Moonshine and Mayhem! was the most successful to date!

On Saturday, July 27 the Museum hosted over 300 guests for the annual event. The night was made possible through donations from Squire Creek, B98fm, Fugate Enterprises, Palomino Petroleum, Hentzen Contractors Inc., TGT Petroleum Corporation, Security 1st Title and Decker, Catlin and Kidwell Wealth Management. Delicious food and drink was sponsored by Argyle Creative Services, Playa Azul, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Nancy's A-MAIZE-N Sandwiches, Public, River City Brewing Co., Blue Moon Caterers, Larkspur Bistro & Bar, ABC Discount Wine and Liquor, Las Tequilas and Standard Beverage.

Moonshine and Mayhem featured a live and silent auction as well as live music entertainment by artist Ricky Fugitt. Can Can girls performed on the hour and Moonshine Margaritas were available all night to celebrate the theme, which was chosen because of the Romancing the West exhibit opened last year.

Moonshine and Mayhem featured specialty beer from River City Brewing Co.

Ricky Fugitt played country red dirt music after the live auction at 9 p.m.

Something new this year -- a wine pull. Did you take your chances?

Thank you to all our sponsors and guests for the evening who came in support of the Museum of World Treasures. Make sure to mark your calendar for the Museum's next fundraiser, Mummies and Martinis, on Friday, October 18, 2013.
