The Museum of World Treasures invites you to explore America's involvement in Vietnam in our upcoming newest exhibit, Through the Lens: Conflict in Vietnam, 1954-1975. The exhibit will open to the public on Friday, July 10, 2015. Visit for a glimpse into the daily life of a soldier in the Vietnam War.

The Museum of World Treasures curates two to three new exhibits every year. Staff, volunteers, and interns research, design, and fabricate new exhibits under the guidance of the Museum’s Curator of Exhibits and Research, Tim Howard.

“We’re excited to give this time period in history the attention it deserves,” said Howard. “We work with lots of Vietnam era veterans and volunteers, especially during our annual Spring Break Week of Heroes event. Next year we will renovate the Korean exhibit in the same area.”

The Museum will host an exclusive opening for members and special guests from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. The opening will feature fun activities, foods from local businesses, and a chance to talk with Howard and other staff about the exhibit. Through the Lens will open to the public on Friday, July 10.
