Every year, the Museum of World Treasures hosts Night of Treasures, an evening fundraiser event. All proceeds from this event benefit the Museum of World Treasures, an educational nonprofit organization. The Museum offers visitors of all ages the chance to see real dinosaurs, mummies, military artifacts, and more. The 2015 event showcased the Museum’s fossil collection during Night of Treasures… STOMP!
As a nonprofit organization, the Museum is reliant upon on the help and support of volunteers and sponsors. This year was no different when it came to pulling out all the stops to ensure an exciting and memorable event for our visitors, sponsors, and volunteers.
The night started out with Ivan’s Happy Hour, featuring the signature drink, “Rex on the Rocks.” While exploring the Museum, visitors had the chance to peruse the items in the Silent Auction. Visitors could place bids on anything from tickets to a Royals game, to jewelry, to a night out on the town. Thanks to generous donations, the Silent Auction was a great success!
Food and drink sponsors were also essential in helping the Museum create the perfect experience for guests. Chips and hummus from Larkspur Bistro & Bar, cocktails from Xclusive Events, and sandwich items from Blue Moon Catering were a few of the delicious items guests were able to enjoy while listening to music.
Guests had the opportunity to grab some props and take home fun photo booth pictures thanks to Lamphouse Photo Company. Check out the Museum’s Facebook page to view these photos and tag anyone pictured.
The party really started when, back by popular demand, Lucky People took the stage. The band played great hits from Prince to Garth Brooks to Michael Jackson. Guests couldn’t help but dance when the music started!
The Museum of World Treasures is incredibly thankful for the hard work and support of its sponsors and volunteers. Without the help of these people and organizations, the Museum would not be able to create a gateway to the past that educates, entertains, and inspires lifelong learning.
Thank you,
Museum of World Treasures Staff, Board of Directors, and Volunteers
