TIGER

  • Tiger: Curiosity, Intrigue, and Magical Mysteries: Visit the Museum of World Treasures to experience the magic it holds. While here, you will learn a few magic tricks of your own and your den will conduct its very own magic show on our children’s theater stage. Then you will brush up on your language skills and learn how to spell out your name in sign language and braille. Lastly, your den will take a tour of the World War 1 exhibit and learn about the Navajo Code Talkers before taking a stab at breaking your own coded message! Cost: $10/scout, $10/adult

  • Good Knights: A good knight has a very high code of ethics and the Museum of World Treasures can help you see how similar each scout is to a knight. When you arrive, you will have a guided tour of the medieval exhibit and learn about knighthood. With this knowledge, you will be able to identify how the Scout Law is similar to that of a knight’s behavior. To take it a step farther, your den will then make or update your group’s own code of conduct and vote on any changes or additions. Then every scout will make their own personal shield as well as a shield for the den. Lastly, your den will partake in a service project at the Museum specially designed for your group. Cost: $12/scout, $10/adult

  • Tiger Tales: Take a tour and hear the tales hidden within the Museum of World Treasures. After the tour, try your hand at creating your own tall tale and share it with the other members of your den. Lastly, take a trip down memory lane and play a game that would’ve been popular to past cub scouts of the past. Cost: $10/scout, $10/adult

Wolf

  • Council Fire (Duty to Country): Have your den/pack visit the Museum of World Treasures to learn about their duty to their country. Partake in a flag ceremony where you will learn how to properly care for and fold the flag, and be captivated by the conversations of a military veteran within the exhibits. Finally, your group will participate in a service project at the Museum specially designed for your group. Cost: $10/scout, $10/adult

  • Digging in the Past: Bring your den to the Museum of World Treasures and introduce yourselves to Ivan, our Tyrannosaurus Rex. Take a guided tour of our fossil gallery, and test your dinosaur knowledge with an interactive dinosaur game. Then flex those creativity muscles and create a brand new dinosaur! Make and partake in your very own dinosaur dig and learn the techniques of a paleontologist. Finish off the dinosaur day with an edible snack demonstrating the formation of fossils. Cost: $15/scout, $10/adult

Bear

  • Marble Madness: Visit the Museum to unearth the fascinating history and characteristics of marbles. Then try your hand at a few of the games designed specifically for marbles.
