"The Pizza Hut Museum - Creating a Museum from Scratch" - Join Rachelle Meinecke for a presentation about the history of Pizza Hut in Wichita and how the Pizza Hut Museum project came to be and what it takes to start a museum from nothing in an incredibly small space but still be able to tell big stories.

Rachelle Meinecke is the director of the Lowell D. Holmes Museum of Anthropology.She teaches the museum studies courses for the Anthropology Department and is the coordinator for the Museum Studies Certificate program.This program is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for careers in the museum field and includes courses from Anthropology, History, Art History and Public Administration.She was also on the committee that helped plan and create the Pizza Hut Museum that opened in 2018.She continues to serve as curator of the Pizza Hut Museum.Rachelle Meinecke has numerous years in the museum field as director and curator of collections.
