Join us Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 1:30pm for our monthly Senior Wednesday. This month our topic is "National Identity and the Cultural Divide" with Retired Air Force Lt. Col Joey Markusfeld. According to the speaker, this talk will be a random dude’s take on how identity, history, and philosophy affect the strategic world (using way too many memes).
about Joey Markusfeld
Retired Air Force Lt. Col Joey Markusfeld volunteered as an initial cadre Air Advisor, embedding with the Iraqi Air Force at Forward Operating Base Warrior in Iraq and helping them to rebuild their pilot-training program. Following a year-long deployment, he became the first ever Irregular Warfare/Special Mission Standardization/Evaluation Chief at Air Education Training Command; spending the next five years travelling to Afghanistan to stand up new partner programs, writing the first ever Tactics for Air Advisor Operations and teaching at the USAF Air Advisor Academy. He currently lives in Colorado and works for United Airlines.
