Senior Wednesday: Blood & Thunder—the Santa Fe Trail Story
Wednesday, January 5, 2022 | 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Tickets: $4 + tax
Join us Wednesday, January 5, 2022 for our monthly Senior Wednesday. This month our topic is "Blood & Thunder --the Santa Fe Trail Story," presented by Jeff Davidson! This lecture will explore the story of the American West and overlap with the story of the Mexico North. The same year that Missouri became a state, 1821, Mexico revolted and won their independence from Spain. While Spain had discouraged trade with the US, Mexico welcomed it, which spawned a long term trade relationship influencing the economies of London, Paris, New York, and Mexico City.
