The Museum of World Treasures is excited to announce that we will be participating in Giving Tuesday (#GivingTuesday) on Tuesday, December 3rd. #GivingTuesday is a charity campaign to add a national day of giving to the line up of Thanksgiving shopping days: Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.

On Tuesday, December 3rd we are asking for donations to renovate our banquet space on the third floor of the Museum. The Museum rents this space for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, and more. Renting the banquet space is critical for the financial health of the Museum, as all generated revenue directly supports the Museum's educational programs, tours for school children, exhibit development, and general operating fund.

We take pride in providing excellent events, and have exceptionally high reviews from brides on Weddingwire.com. In order to continue and improve our great service, we must renovate the space with some fresh paint and light fixtures. By completing this renovation we expect to vastly increase our bookings, meaning your donation towards renovation materials will grow for the Museum exponentially.

Our goal is to raise at least $1,000 for this project on #GivingTuesday. By donating to help us refresh the space, your gift could enable us to generate an extra $20,000 in the next year alone. All donations are tax-deductible. You can give to the Museum by mailing a check to 835 E. 1st Street, Wichita, KS 67202 (please mark it #GivingTuesday), by calling the Museum at 316.263.1311 and making a donation over the phone, or donating online at Razoohttp://www.razoo.com/story/Worldtreasuresrenovation. We are currently accepting donations for this project, or you can schedule your donation for #GivingTuesday online at Razoo.

Please remember the Museum in this time of giving. During the Holiday Season more than ever, our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made our progress possible. And in this spirit we say, simply but sincerely, thank you and best wishes for the Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.
