Cocktails With the Curator Schedule
- 5:00 p.m. – Doors open, drinks and socializing

5:30–6:45 p.m. – “Shots of History” Lightning Talks:
- Emily Kleiner – Education Assistant at the Museum with a master’s in Anthropology. "In his book Chariot of the Gods, Von Däniken argues that aliens are responsible for wonders of the world like the Great Pyramids. The question is: could this be true, or are there better explanations?"
- Matt Dwier – Education Manager at the Museum with a master’s in History and bachelor’s degrees in both History and Secondary Education. "Emo: a pop culture fad or something more? A quick history of the sounds and looks of emo as it grew and continues to grow."
- Morgan Schremmer – Exhibits Volunteer at the Museum and an Anthropology student. "Paleontology meets Wild West. Meet two of the first American paleontologists and learn about the cat fight that helped shape early paleontology."
- Preston Peer – Museum Volunteer Tour Guide and local teacher. "In 1914 an assassination rocked Europe. The fallout would captivate the citizenry. But, the most important political killing of 1914 probably wasn’t the one you have heard of. Learn about the end of an era in The Trial of Madame Caillaux: Sex, Politics, and Murder at the Twilight of Old Europe."
